Installing SAP ERP 6.0 EhP 8 on MaxDB 7.9
After following the preparation step here (https://sapbasis.wordpress.com/2016/08/24/preparing-to-install-sap-erp-6-ehp-8-with-maxdb-7-9/), then we’ll continue to install the main part, which is installing SAP ERP 6.0 EhP 8 on MaxDB 7.9 as database server. It’s easy to follow.
Run the sapinst.
Choose SAP Business Suite 7i 2016 – EHP8 for SAP ERP 6.0 ABAP – MaxDB – SAP Systems – Application Server ABAP – Standard System – Standard System. Click Next.

Create new client on SAP ERP 6 EHp 7
This step by step configuration is going to show you on how to create new client on SAP ERP 6 EHp 7. Usually, Basis doing this step after completing the installation.
Type tcode “SCC4”
This will display avalaible clients.
Click Display/Change icon to change mode.

This video show you on how to step by step upgrade SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP 4 (with SAP ERP 6 EHp 5 on it) to SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 12.
There are few problems especially on uuidd (UUID daemon) and libuuid1 but it all solved. You can check it out.

Video Upgrade SLES 11 SP 2 with SAP ERP 6 EHp 5 to SLES 11 SP4
I have installed SAP ERP 6 EHp 5 on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server SP 2. Then I need to upgrade my OS from SLES 11 SP 2 to the latest version of SLES 11, which is SLES 11 SP 4.

Blink 182’s “Obvious” lyrics on SAP standard program
I don’t know what happened to this SAP programmer. He obviously love this song (“Obvious”) from Blink 182. The problem is that he/she wrote the lyrics on SAP standard program and he/she didn’t delete it. Then SAP accidentally distribute this to their customer all over the world.
I don’t know whether SAP AG is responsible about royalty to Blink 182 but the fact is that this lyrics have already gone so far.
